Companies Take Proactive Measures Against Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA)

Unions TODAY what are they good for... absolutely nothing.  Show me a news headline that doesn't have a bad or troubling angle about unions in it...

In National News:
"Democrat's Auto Industry Bailout is a UAW Bailout" (check out the UAW-owned golf course and "education" center at Black Lake Golf Course...by the way, it lost 23 million dollars last year...)

In Money:
"Smithfield, union to start contract talks in early '09" (let's see: you (UFCW) terrorized the company and it's employees for 16 years, ended up in a RICO case, barely win the vote (52% to 48%) and now you think bargaining will be a piece of cake... good luck with that...)

In HR:
"Union Brass: Go Along with Sexual Harassment or Lose Your Job" (UAW local must pay a Chrysler worker $300,000 for not being protected by union officials from sexual harassment by a union steward.)

In Politics:
"SEIU Again Accused of Fixing Vote" (Who was named as indicted Governor Blagojevich's biggest campaign contributor?  That would be the SEIU, with $1.8 million.  In case you forget, the corrupt Governor is the same one who ordered the state to negotiate with the SEIU to represent 49,0000 in-home child care workers...)

In Life/Entertainment:
"To Strike or Not to Strike: What Would Tom Hanks Do? (who cares if the last strike (writer's) ruined lives, and more importantly my favorite TV shows and that ALL the other unions have settled with the studios...look for the Screen Actors Guild to authorize a strike BRILLIANTLY during a recession...)

In Sports:
"Arena Football League can't agree with players union, cancels 2009 season" (there goes my season ticket seats that I just put in their stockings, sorry kids...)

In Business:
"EFCA a priority for Obama: Steps to take now" (I think this is a negative headline, wait, let me think about it, yes, yes I believe it is...)

In Blogs:
"Companies take proactive measures against Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA)." (I say take the headlines into your own hands before you become one...)
